Verde y Azul®

a group of people walking on a beach

Built for the outdoors where green jungle meets blue Pacific

Casa Verde y Azul was designed around a simple belief: the best room in any house in Costa Rica is the one with no walls. Built with close attention to natural materials and the rhythms of the jungle, this villa is an invitation to slow down and live outside.
The open-plan kitchen and living area flow directly onto the terrace, where a hanging bed and the saltwater pool sit beneath the shade of the canopy. Meals are cooked and eaten in the open air. Mornings start with howler monkeys and sea views. There is no agenda here — just the breeze from the Pacific, the sound of the jungle, and eight guests with nowhere they would rather be.
The property sleeps up to eight across a two-level main house and a separate private guest suite, making it the ideal choice for larger families, multi-generational trips, or a group of friends who want space to spread out without sacrificing being together.

Where you'll be

On the quiet north end of Santa Teresa jungle above, ocean below, beach in five minutes.

Off the map, not off the grid

Tucked 200 meters up a private dead-end road in northern Santa Teresa, Casa Verde y Azul sits in genuine seclusion — no road noise, no foot traffic, just the sounds of the jungle and the occasional Howler monkey reminding you where you are. The beach, surf breaks, local restaurants, and the Super La Hacienda supermarket are all a 5–10 minute walk downhill. You get the best of both: total peace on the property, and the village whenever you want it.

The jungle is your living room

Costa Rica's climate is one of its greatest gifts, and Casa Verde y Azul is designed to use it fully. The ground floor kitchen is an outdoor cooking space — fully equipped, open to the breeze, and the setting for some of the best meals you'll eat in Costa Rica. The saltwater pool, hammock, and hanging bed on the terrace are where afternoons disappear. On the upper floor, the open-plan sea-view loft sleeps under a mosquito net with the rainforest canopy as the view — as close to sleeping in the jungle as comfort allows.

Flexible for groups

The layout of Verde y Azul is what makes it special for groups of 6–8. The main house provides communal space and two sleeping areas, while the private guest suite sits separately — giving two members of your group their own entrance, their own bathroom, and their own rhythm, while everyone meets at the pool. It's the architecture of a house that's been thought through by people who actually use it.
