The surf experience
Surfing is more than a sport; it’s the reason we traded the Swiss Alps for the Pacific Ocean. Coming from a background in skate and snowboard shop culture in Thun, our founders Nicole & Mike brought that same passion to the waves of Costa Rica. Whether you are catching your first foam wave or looking for the best local barrels, we treat every guest like a part of our community.

In 2013, we left our routines in Switzerland behind to chase a dream. What started with one small "Simsalabim" jungle bungalow has grown into a collection of four unique homes. Our journey was shaped by a desire for freedom, connection to nature, and the rhythm of the ocean. Today, Drop In Costa Rica is our way of sharing that freedom with you.
