The Yoga Shala: A private, open-air sanctuary located in the heart of our property, capable of hosting up to 24 practitioners.Group Capacity: Across our four unique houses, we can comfortably accommodate groups of approximately 24 guests.The "Jungelow" Experience: Our villas—including Simsalabim, El Camino, and Verde y Azul—are built with organic materials and offer a blend of natural ventilation and modern comfort.Strategic Location: Your group is just a 5-minute walk from the world-class waves of Playa Santa Teresa and the best local organic cafés.

Professional Services for Organizers

We handle the logistics so you can
focus on your teaching.

  • On-Site Management: Our property managers are available to assist with local logistics, transportation, and specialized recommendations.


  • Retreat Housekeeping: Professional cleaning is provided Monday through Saturday. Please note that for retreat groups, housekeeping does not include dishwashing.


  • High-Speed Connectivity: Reliable 300 Mbps fiber optic internet is available throughout the property for organizers and digital nomad participants.


  • Linen Service: We provide fresh bath towels every 2nd day and bed linens every 7th day.

Operational Guidelines for Retreats

Maintaining a sanctuary for
health and relaxation.

  • Kitchen Protocol: For retreat groups, the kitchen must be cleaned and formally handed over by the retreat’s designated gastronomy manager.


  • Arrival/Departure: Check-in is at 3:00 PM and Check-out is at 10:00 AM. To ensure we can prepare for arriving groups, late check-outs are billed as an extra night.


  • Atmosphere & Noise: Our villas are sanctuaries for health and are strictly not party venues. Quiet hours are observed from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

  • Smoke-Free Campus: Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited inside the villas and within the Yoga Shala to protect our organic building materials.

  • Liability: Guests and participants engage in yoga and surfing at their own risk; Drop In Costa Rica is not liable for injuries sustained during the stay.

Cooking for a retreat

Our premier villa, Casa Verde y Azul, is the culinary heart of our property. It is specifically designed to meet the needs of professional retreat catering:

Capacity:

The fully equipped kitchen features professional-grade appliances, expansive work surfaces, and all necessary utensils to comfortably cater for groups of up to 24 people.

Shared dining experience:

Mealtimes are a vital part of the retreat experience. We offer a dedicated dining space for up to 20 guests, creating a welcoming atmosphere that brings the entire community together.

Supporting facilities:

Every house on the property also features its own fully equipped kitchen, providing additional flexibility for smaller groups or individual preparation.

To ensure your participants receive the highest quality nutrition, we recommend working with Chef Pedro Miguel. He is highly experienced in catering for wellness retreats in Santa Teresa.

Booking & Financial Terms

Securing the property:

A 50% deposit per house is required to hold your retreat dates. Dates are not officially reserved until this deposit is received.

Final settlement:

The remaining balance must be paid in full 30 days prior to your group's arrival.

Cancellation policy:

All deposits are strictly non-refundable. Cancellations made less than 30 days before arrival, or "no-shows," will be charged 100% of the total rental amount.

Insurance requirement:

We strongly recommend that all retreat organizers and participants purchase comprehensive travel insurance, including "Cancel For Any Reason" coverage.
