As private as it gets

Simsalabim sits on the same private property as the other Drop In houses — 200 meters up a quiet dead-end road in northern Santa Teresa, away from the noise of the main strip. The beach and village are a 5–10 minute walk down. Up here, the sounds are birdsong, howler monkeys, and the breeze moving through the trees. It's a genuinely calm place to stay — uncomplicated and close to nature in a way the larger houses can't quite replicate.

Shower with a rainforest view

The bathroom at Simsalabim are open to nature — covered where it counts, open where it's magic. Showering while watching animals move through the rainforest canopy is one of those experiences guests mention in every review. It's not a compromise — it's a design choice that puts you as close to the jungle as comfort allows. The whole setup is deliberately simple: clean, functional, and surrounded by something extraordinary.

Small house, full property access

Simsalabim guests have access to the same Yoga Shala, on-site property manager, and 100 Mbps fiber-optic internet as all other Drop In houses. Yoga classes, massages, surf lessons, and ATV rentals can all be arranged through the property manager. The bungalow is simple by design — the property around it takes care of everything else. It's the right choice for a couple or small group who want nature immersion without the price tag of a full villa.
